Independent Co-pay Assistance Foundation Charitable Support Independent Co-pay Assistance Foundation Charitable Support As part of our commitment to the health and wellbeing of all patients, Genentech supports patients who cannot afford their out of pocket costs for medicines through donations to independent co-pay assistance foundations.
Genentech does not influence or control the operations or eligibility criteria of any independent co-pay assistance foundation. Application and Funding Requirements Funding requests must be submitted online through the Genentech Funding Request System . Your organization must be recognized by the IRS as a tax exempt, public charity under sections 501(c)(3); 501(c)(4); or 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Your organization must have a current, favorable OIG opinion that supports the organization’s co-payment assistance program and must operate in accordance with that opinion. Additional restrictions may apply where applicable. In order to be eligible for this type of funding, your organization must not be: An individual, group practice, or private physician office.
Owned in whole or in part by a physician or group of physicians. A charitable foundation of a small group practice (less than 50 physicians) A political or sectarian organization.
An organization with a written policy to discriminate based on race, religion, gender, gender expression and/or identity, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, military status, or any other protected status is ineligible for funding.
