This Governor’s Strategic Reserve Fund supported grant is dedicated to supporting private sector Oregon climate tech/renewable energy/advanced manufacturing companies in applying for federal Inflation Reduction Act funds. The state funding will be distributed as grant awards to assist smaller companies (with 500 full time equivalent employees (FTE) or less) throughout Oregon. The program is no longer accepting applications.
Organization is in good financial standing based upon publicly available information (in certain instances, companies may be required to submit financial information to verify their financial standing); Organization currently employs 500 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees or less in Oregon; Organization will apply for Inflation Reduction Act funding in either 2023 or 2024; and Organization’s project as described below is eligible for federal Inflation Reduction Act loans, loan guarantees or grants.
Successful applicants will be able to utilize funds from awards to pay for the following expenses: Professional fees to develop federal Inflation Reduction Act application (e.g., technical consultants, writer, reviewer). Other professional fees (e.g., legal, accounting) directly related to preparing a federal Inflation Reduction Act application.
Other out-of-pocket costs directly related to preparing federal Inflation Reduction Act applications (e.g., market research, technical database research or statistical analyses). Costs to pay for the time of staff/owner(s)/LLC member(s)/anyone associated with the company and typical costs of doing business are not eligible uses of grant funds. All costs will be reviewed for eligibility and applicability.
What is the Application Process? Applications are now being accepted and will be reviewed on an ongoing basis until funds are fully awarded, or until June 20, 2025, whichever comes first. To apply, fill out the application located under ‘Resources’ on the left side of the webpage.
