The Foundation is committed to supporting projects that help the policy community face the fundamental challenge of ensuring the security of the United States, protecting and promoting American interests and values abroad, and enhancing international order. The International Security and Foreign Policy Program seeks to address traditional security challenges, such as great power competition, and new challenges, such as those posed by disruptive technologies. The Foundation continues to support work on critical security issues in Europe, East Asia, and the Middle East. As part of this effort, the Foundation seeks to explore the challenges of responding to the emerging alignment of adversaries – China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea – that threatens the United States and its allies and partners.
