Fields & Associates, LLC , we have provided legal help to families in many different situations, including those involving domestic abuse or other forms of violence that affect spouses, children, and other family members.
We understand the ways that domestic violence can impact victims, and we know how difficult it can be for a person to leave an abusive situation, seek help, and meet the ongoing needs of themselves and their children while maintaining protection against further abuse or harassment.
Because of this, we work to provide opportunities for people who have been affected by domestic violence or who are looking to limit the impact of domestic violence on families in the United States. With the John T. Fields & Associates, LLC Fight Against Domestic Violence Scholarship , we provide financial assistance to college students, helping them achieve their goals and take steps to better our society.
Each semester, we offer a $2,000 scholarship to a college student who has been impacted by domestic violence in their life or who has a substantial interest in implementing solutions to these issues and protecting others against domestic abuse, harassment, and other forms of family violence. To apply for our scholarship, please fill out the application form below and submit all required information by October 5, 2026.

Undergraduate and graduate students may apply for the Fight Against Domestic Violence Scholarship if they meet the following eligibility requirements: The student must be at least 18 years old. The student must be a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident of the United States. The student must be enrolled in or accepted to an undergraduate or graduate program at a U.S. college or university.
The student must have been impacted by domestic violence that was committed against them or a family member, or they must have a substantial interest in providing solutions to prevent domestic violence in the United States. What Are the Application Requirements? Students can apply for the Fight Against Domestic Violence Scholarship by submitting the form at the bottom of this page.
A student's application must include their contact information and proof of enrollment must be attached. Proof of enrollment may include an acceptance letter, academic transcript, class schedule, or other official documents from a college or university. Students must also submit an essay of up to 1,000 words answering the following questions: How has domestic violence affected people in the United States today?
How serious is this issue? What solutions can be put in place to address these concerns and reduce the number of people who are affected by domestic abuse? What Are the Evaluation Criteria?
The scholarship team at John T. Fields & Associates, LLC will review all applications to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria. When evaluating applicants' essays, we will consider the following: Does the essay demonstrate an understanding of the importance of addressing the issue of domestic violence?
