About Lactalis Canada’s Community Enrichment Fund The Lactalis Canada Community Enrichment Fund is a dedicated program to support the communities in which we operate across the country at our 30+ operating sites in Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia.
In keeping with our core purpose to enrich and nurture the lives of Canadians and our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitment, the Fund empowers our people across Canada with the ability to make meaningful impact and build relations through participation, support, investment and engagement of community programs at the local level in areas related to: Supporting youth well-being Promoting community well-being Guidelines and Eligibility Criteria • Must be related to: supporting youth well-being; feeding the community; promoting community well-being; and/or contributing to a thriving planet • The organization must reflect the diversity and wider makeup of the community and must not discriminate based on gender, age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, etc. • The event or project must directly benefit the communities where we have operations • Eligibility is dependent on the organization agreeing to complete and submit the summary form and photographs within four (4) weeks of completion of the initiative • Organizations with values, purposes, policies or practices in conflict with Lactalis Canada’s purpose • Initiatives where there is a demonstrated or perceived risk of conflict of interest • Any individual employee or departmental fundraising initiatives or events (e.g. walks, tournaments, dinners, auctions, etc.) • Third-party organizations raising funds for other charities • Initiatives that do not serve the community directly • Multi-year funding commitments • Political organizations or advocacy groups and affiliated activities • Religious organizations and affiliated activities, unless they are engaged in a significant project benefiting the entire community • Private recreational groups serving only their members (e.g. not open to community members) • Sponsorship of industry conferences and trade shows • Personal or group travel-related events and expeditions • For-profit organizations or other corporations’ community initiatives • Advertising, publications, film/video/television projects • Individual bursaries or scholarships • Brand campaigns/brand donations • Salaries or operating costs • Excess milk processing for donation À propos du Fonds d’enrichissement Communautaire de Lactalis Canada Le Fonds d’enrichissement Communautaire de Lactalis Canada est un programme conçu pour appuyer les collectivités dans lesquelles nous exerçons nos activités partout au pays dans nos plus de 30 sites d’exploitation au Québec, en Ontario, au Manitoba, en Alberta et en Colombie-Britannique.
