Regional Educational Scholarship This is a scholarship awarded to an individual in each of three regions in Tennessee (west, middle, east) in the amount of $5,000. Thank you ! ” The Tennessee Nurses Foundation (TNF) Leadership Nursing Program is a grant initiative designed to enhance nursing leadership abilities by establishing a statewide network of nurse leaders, expanding nurses' community knowledge, and motivating them to serve as role models of increased community involvement.
TNF recognizes that additional training may be required in order for nurses to participate in public policy development. This program provides an opportunity for RNs to choose a local, regional, state, or national program to develop these skills. Participation is limited to registered nurses who are members of the Tennessee Nurses Association (TNA).
You must be practicing in Tennessee and demonstrating leadership qualities, with a commitment to professional growth and a larger role in community leadership. Leadership Nursing Grant Program Criteria & Application The Tennessee Nurses Foundation provides grants to nurses who are members of the Tennessee Nurses Association engaging in scientific and other research projects focusing on nursing practice.

Nursing Research Grant Criteria and Application Edna Mason Memorial TNA Conference Scholarship The Tennessee Nurses Foundation is pleased to offer a scholarship to attend the TNA Annual Conference in honor of Edna Mason, RN, a devoted, long-time member of the Tennessee Nurses Association. Ms. Mason was a staff nurse from the Knoxville, TN, area and she and her husband, Ray, never missed coming to TNA’s Annual Conferences.
Edna’s kindness, bubbly spirit, and willingness to serve will long be remembered. TNA's Annual Conference will be held October 2-4, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Memphis East in Memphis, TN. Further details for the conference will be under the Events menu of TNA’s website as it becomes available.
DEADLINE TO APPLY: The scholarship period has ended for 2025. The scholarship value (equal to one full TNA Annual Conference registration) is yet to be determined. This scholarship does not cover lodging or travel.
Transportation to and from the conference, hotel, additional meals, incidentals, etc., are the responsibility of the scholarship winner. *The number of scholarships awarded will be based on funds available. This will be your first time to attend the TNA Annual Conference.
Previous conference attendees will not be eligible. In addition, individuals who have received any scholarships from TNF in the last two years are not eligible. Applicant does not have to be a member of TNA.
