That’s why we launched the Empowering Growth Small Business Grant, providing thousands in funding to support entrepreneurs across North Carolina.
Application for the 2025 Grant – Greensboro Market! The next round of applications for the 2025 Empowering Growth Grant Program will open soon for small businesses in the Greensboro Market! One deserving business in Greensboro will receive a $10,000 grant to help take their company to the next level.
Application Open: August 1, 2025 Application Deadline: August 31, 2025 Applications for our 2025 Empowering Growth Small Business Grant with updated eligibility criteria are designed to welcome more businesses like yours!
✔ Your business must have gross revenues of $750,000 or less ✔ Must have been in business for ten (10) years or less as of January 31, 2025 ✔ Your small business must have twenty-five (25) employees or less, including yourself ✔ Your business must operate in Guilford, Alamance, Rockingham, or Randolph County ❌ Previous grant recipients are not eligible to apply Certain entities, such as nonprofits, real estate investment firms, businesses with M&F Bank vendor ties, and M&F Bank employees or their relatives, are also ineligible.
