Medical Marijuana Laboratory Licensing Program | Department of Health Medical Marijuana Laboratory Licensing Program To administer the provisions of regulation 216-RICR-60-05-6 for the purpose of licensing analytical laboratories to collect and analyze medical marijuana products cultivated and/or manufactured by licensed cultivators, compassion centers and producers.
Process and review license applications from analytical laboratories applying to sample and test medical marijuana products cultivated or produced by registered and licensed producers. Assess applicant analytical laboratories prior to issuing a license to ensure they can meet the regulatory, quality assurance and performance requirements for sampling and testing medical marijuana.
