We work closely with grantees and in the Mid-Hudson Valley community by facilitating connections, lending expertise, and providing guidance and support. We strengthen regional nonprofit teams and boards beyond grant funding by coordinating programming and sharing research and resources. The YMCA of Middletown’s programs focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
This YMCA serves all of Orange County and southern Sullivan County from four branch locations and an outdoor education center. Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood is a critical provider of sexual and reproductive health services, education, and advocacy.
It is the only provider of abortion services in Columbia and Greene counties, and one of very few providers of contraceptives and testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs). More than three quarters of UHPP patients are between 19 and 34 years old, and over half have incomes below the federal poverty level. Two-thirds of UHPP patients identify it as their only healthcare provider.
Hudson River Housing & RUPCO Hudson River Housing (HRH) and RUPCO, both long-time Dyson Foundation grantees, are two of the Mid-Hudson Valley’s most important housing and community development organizations.
