The MIT Solve AI for Humanity Prize, funded by the Patrick J. McGovern Foundation, awards up to $200,000 to solutions leveraging data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to benefit humanity. The prize is open to both existing AI/ML solutions and to solutions planning to adopt these technologies to amplify their impact.
Winners are selected from across Solve's Global Challenges and the Indigenous Communities Fellowship. Solver teams gain access to MIT Solve's network of mentors, investors, and partners along with the prize funding to scale their impact. The next round of Global Challenges opens in September 2026.
