The Monroe Fund, a component of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin (CFSW), offers competitive grants to nonprofit organizations serving residents within the Monroe School District boundary. Eligible projects include enhancement of parks and public spaces, historic and cultural preservation, youth activities and facilities, education, the arts, and health and human services. Applications must be submitted online at cfsw.
org by April 15, 2026, at 11:59 p. m. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered, and mailed or emailed submissions are not accepted.
Successful grantees are notified by mail and recognized at a reception in June. Grant funds must be used within 10 months of the award.

Projects may include enhancement of parks and public spaces, historic and cultural preservation, youth activities and facilities, education, the arts, and health and human services. Applications are accepted from non-profit organizations only. Requests from individuals for personal projects or needs are not allowed under the federal tax laws.

Applications must be submitted by using the online application form, no later than 11:59 p. m. on April 15, 2026.
Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Mailed, emailed and faxed applications are not accepted. Successful applicants will be notified of their award by mail.
