Being informed by research and practice from across the world we want to create a global knowledge base that improves patient safety, enhances the wellbeing of healthcare professionals, and reduces the risks for patients and healthcare professionals.
APPLY FOR A GRANT OF UP TO £200,000 To maximise the global impact of The MPS Foundation we fund research that is focused on the following four areas: The impact of human factors on patient safety, outcomes, and risk The personal and professional wellbeing of healthcare professionals and teams The impact of digital integration and technology on patient safety, outcomes, and risk Evaluation of the effectiveness of teaching and learning innovations We welcome proposals that are original, innovative, evidence-based, and focused on applied research.
We will give priority to proposals that involve and impact more than one country or region. Our Call for Expression of Interest will open on 9th February 2026. If you would like to have your research funded please register your interest and complete your Expression of Interest by the closing date of 1700 BST on 1st May 2026.
