Read Full Step-by-Step Guide Complete the Prioritization Questionnaire This short survey helps us understand your home’s condition and determine inspection scheduling. When submitted, your status will automatically update to “Prioritization Questionnaire Submitted. ” Wait to Be Placed in an Inspection Group Our system organizes homeowners into Inspection Groups (1–5) several times each week.
You’ll receive an email notification confirming your group placement. When you’re placed in a group, your status will update to Complete the Inspection Application Once assigned to an inspection group, you can access and complete your Inspection Application inside your account. Prepare for Your Free Wind-Mitigation Inspection After your application is submitted and approved, an authorized Florida Wind-Mitigation Inspector will be assigned to your property.
Confirm Your Inspection Date and Time Review Your Inspection Report After your inspection, you’ll receive a detailed report outlining: Recommended Improvements to Strengthen Your Home & Potential Eligibility for Up to $10,000 in Grant Funding Apply for a Grant (If Eligible) Once your inspection is complete and your home qualifies, you can submit a Grant Application to receive funding for approved upgrades such as: Roof Improvements | Impact Windows and Doors | Garage Door Reinforcement Secondary Water Barrier Installation THE 3 KEY STEPS TO THE PROGRAM Having a quality wind-mitigation inspection done to your home is the first step towards making it stronger to withstand hurricanes and saving you money on your home insurance.
The inspection report you will receive will provide you with two key benefits: Give you the opportunity to share your report with your insurance carrier to make sure you’re currently receiving all available discounts on the hurricane portion of your home insurance premium.
Be your roadmap to retrofitting your home with the proper improvements to help strengthen it against hurricanes and gain any available discounts on the hurricane portion of your home insurance premium.
Using the recommendations contained in your inspection report is the next step towards strengthening your home against hurricanes through the following home improvements: Strengthen Roof to Deck Attachments Reinforce Roof-to-Wall Connections Install Secondary Water Resistance for Roof Strengthening your home against hurricanes through proper improvements is a proven path to gain discounts on the hurricane portion of your home insurance premium.

California State Nonprofit Security Grant Program (CSNSGP) is a grant from the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services that funds target hardening and security enhancements for nonprofit organizations at high risk for violent attacks and hate crimes due to their ideology, beliefs, or mission. Awards of up to $200,000 per organization are available, with $76 million allocated in the latest funding round. Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations operating in California. Funded activities include physical security improvements and vulnerability assessments to protect against threats. The program requires applicants to complete a Vulnerability Assessment Worksheet as part of the application process. Support services applicants had an extended deadline of January 12, 2026. FY 2026 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) – Mississippi is a grant from the Mississippi Office of Homeland Security (MOHS) that funds local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency operations agencies for homeland security preparedness. FEMA-provided funds can be used for equipment, training, exercises, and supplies to protect against terrorism and other threats. The FY26 application deadline is Friday, April 3, 2026, and applications are submitted via the MOHS JotForm portal. National priorities require allocating at least 10% toward border crisis response and 3% toward election security.
