The National Cyber Scholarship Foundation A new initiative to develop the next generation of Cyber Stars The National Cyber Scholarship Foundation (NCSF) has launched a national initiative to identify and develop a new generation of Cyber Stars, to help close the critical skills gap in the cybersecurity industry.
The initiative is designed to identify talent in high school and college students, and includes a comprehensive set of programs and supports that work together to create a more assured pipeline for building the next generation of cyber talent. Gives free access to an online game that provides a fun, accessible gateway for high school students to explore their cybersecurity skills, and learn about the cyber industry and careers. Simplifying and accelerating the path to a cybersecurity career for college students, whatever their experience level. Portfolio of briefings and reports that explain the critical shortage of expert CyberStars and pathways for meeting the challenge.
National Cyber Scholarships The National Cyber Scholarship program empowers America’s future Cyber Stars by awarding more than $2 million in scholarships and $14 million in training to high school and college students. Students can continue their studies and receive world class training for free from NCSF’s partner, the SANS Institute.
National Cyber Scholarships strengthen the pipeline for the cybersecurity industry in three important ways. The National Cyber Scholarship Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) charitable foundation created to help the United States close its critical cybersecurity skills gap. The only known defense against sophisticated cyber attacks is cybersecurity professionals with extraordinary talent and advanced training that enables them to defend systems in real time against determined adversaries.
