NCW Foundation for Youth Grant - Community Foundation of North Central Washington Grants Awarded (2024-2025) Application Open and Awarded Year-Round The NCW Foundation for Youth Grant was established to provide funding for programs that directly benefit youth in Chelan and Douglas counties. Applications are accepted year-round and awarded every other month.
Grant funds must be spent directly on youth 18 and under in Chelan and Douglas counties Up to $1,000 can be requested for one or more projects/programs per organization Special consideration is given to programs that either benefit many youth or give youth an opportunity they might not otherwise be able to access or afford Applicants that receive funding must wait 1 year (12 mos) before applying again Funds must be expended within 6 months Organizations must be 501c3 nonprofits serving Chelan or Douglas counties and adhere with CFNCW grant guidelines.

Examples of previously funded programs: In-state field trips and afterschool activities Supplies and materials for youth programming Transportation to special events and activities Admission, scholarships, or associated expenses for youth otherwise unable to afford the event or program Food, clothing, or other necessities for youth Equipment that improves youth’s safety or accessibility Examples of programs typically NOT funded: Supplies for adults (some exceptions made for families) Classroom supplies or any school costs that are normally covered by the school district Marketing and advertising Out-of-state competition or trips An individual’s personal projects or pursuits (grants must be submitted by an organization, school, club, or team) Questions?

My father was a migrant agricultural worker who eventually started his own cherry and apple orchard.
