Youth Football Access & Support 2025 Social Responsibility Annual Report NFL Club Community Grants The NFL Club Community Grants provide each of the 32 NFL clubs the opportunity to apply for grants that support their efforts to give back to their communities and activate national cause campaigns in their local markets.
The Social Justice Club Community Grant is offered to encourage NFL clubs to seed projects, fund programs and partner with nonprofit organizations in their markets that support work in the sphere of social justice. This grant should be used to fund organizations, programs or initiatives that reduce barriers to opportunity.
Areas of priority include education, criminal justice reform, community/police relations and workforce/economic development. Through its PLAY 60 grant opportunity, the NFL Foundation provides clubs resources to activate NFL PLAY 60, a national youth health and fitness campaign focused on increasing the wellness of young fans by encouraging them to be active for at least 60 minutes a day.
Clubs may also apply PLAY 60 grant funds toward a Youth Fitness Zone . Playgrounds, gymnasium refurbishments, activity trails, and interactive fitness technology installations are among the more than 265 projects that have taken place since this program began.
The Volunteerism grant represents a versatile opportunity for clubs to create awareness of their team’s involvement in the local community and the role that community volunteers play in enhancing the local area. Teams can choose to recognize deserving individuals or organizations committed to giving back to a specific cause or community.
The Crucial Catch grant is offered to encourage broadened partnerships between NFL teams and nonprofit organizations in their markets that support cancer awareness and screening services. NFL Clubs have the option of activating locally in-stadium and in their community around either one form of cancer selected by the Club, or around cancer detection and prevention more broadly.
The annual launch of the campaign, in-stadium branding, etc. – will be primarily focused around a two-week activation window in the month of October. The Salute to Service grant is offered to encourage broadened partnerships between NFL teams and nonprofit organizations in their markets that support the men and women serving in our Armed Forces.
Salute to Service is a year-round effort to Honor, Empower and Connect our nation’s service members, veterans and their families. It is grounded in deep partnerships with nonprofits and organizations that support the military community in the United States and across the world.
Through its Youth Football Club Community Grant opportunity, the NFL Foundation looks to NFL clubs to jointly address the needs of nonprofit youth football organizations, high school football programs and other youth and high school football efforts - both flag and tackle football - in their local markets.
The Social Responsibility Club Community Grant is offered to encourage NFL clubs to seed projects, fund programs and partner with nonprofit organizations in their markets that support work in the sphere of social responsibility (Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault, Impaired Driving or Driving Under the Influence, Drug/Substance Abuse Prevention, Mental Health, Character Education and other societal issues facing club markets) The Huddle Legacy grant will allow each Club to continue focusing on the pillars that are most important to their organizations while inviting community members to join.

The My Cause My Cleats grant is offered to support NFL Clubs nas they celebrate the positive impact that players have made in communities across America and provide players with an opportunity to highlight the cause-related work they are passionate about on the field.
During Week 13 of the season, NFL players from across the league will showcase their unique and customized cleats to recognize the various causes they support.
The NFL is committed to supporting underserved youth globally by enhancing their health, wellbeing and access to opportunities through increasing the number of safe and inclusive physical activity opportunities, reducing physical and mental health inequalities, and addressing the most pressing social needs in each market. A key component of the global strategy is using flag football as a philanthropic vehicle to drive social impact.
Grant funding will help club foundations support the implementation of tailored, impact-focused flag football initiatives and corresponding social impact projects in respective international markets that improve the health and wellbeing of local underserved youth.
