In addition, the rise of remote work has given talent more flexibility over where they choose to live and work. The campaign highlights Northwest Arkansas’ lucrative career opportunities together with the region’s incredible lifestyle amenities.
Welcome to Northwest Arkansas Northwest Arkansas has one of the most affordable costs of living in the nation, plentiful outdoor lifestyle perks, nationally ranked arts, culture and cuisine scenes, and per capita income that is 14% higher than the national average. In the region, people have shorter commutes, a close-knit and inclusive community, a rich arts and culture scene, and the time to enjoy all the outdoors has to offer.
Life Works Here Incentive Background The initial Life Works Here incentive launched in November 2020, offering remote tech talent the opportunity to relocate to the region for $10,000 and a mountain or road bike.
This effort, which was sparked by the remote work trend and national relocation patterns, was overwhelmingly successful and generated more than 66,000 applicants from around the world who were drawn to the region as a great place to live, work and play. While the application process for the talent incentive has ended, the need for talent in the region continues.
