Resilience, Capacity Building, and Community Engagement Grants is sponsored by Office of Community Partnerships and Strategic Communications (OCPSC) and League of California Community Foundations (LCCF). This program aims to support and strengthen a network of local community-based organizations (CBOs) that act as 'trusted messengers' in vulnerable and hard-to-reach communities across California. The grants are intended to enhance community resilience, build the capacity of CBOs, and promote meaningful engagement around resiliency. The program prioritizes organizations serving those experiencing the greatest health and social inequities. While directly for community foundations, these foundations then sub-grant to local CBOs. Child welfare organizations that serve as trusted messengers and focus on community resilience and capacity building would be highly relevant.
