Submissions for a chance to win a dog park grant are taken at the Bark for Your Park™ website , and to help, we’ve compiled tips to ensure your submission is filled correctly and stands out! 1.
Make sure you submit the 2 required documents Document 1: Letter confirming available land. You’ll need to submit a verification letter from the landowner where the proposed dog park will be constructed or renovated to confirm their support for the project. We’ve made it easy with this downloadable template .
Document 2: Letter of support from your local municipality or a 501c3 This can be a letter from the city or county mayor, city manager, the director of parks and recreation or another civic leader within the community. The letter should state their support of the dog park and their willingness to complete the proposed project if the community is chosen as a prize winner.
