"Receiving this scholarship means more to me than I can express in a letter. These scholarships not only help me financially, but also serve as a tremendous source of encouragement and motivation.
Your belief in my abilities and dedication to furthering my education is both humbling and inspiring. Your support has allowed me to focus on my studies and pursue my dreams. Beyond the financial assistance, your generosity has instilled in me a profound sense of responsibility.
I am reminded of the importance of giving back and hope to one day be in a position where I can pay it forward and make a positive impact on the lives of others, just as you have done for me." ###### – Emma Forst, Pittsburg State University "I want to express my sincere gratitude for being chosen for the GEF General, Henry Wurst and GLGA scholarships.
I am deeply honored to receive such generous support from PGSF and those within this industry." ###### – Bailey O'Neill, Illinois State University "It's been an indescribably difficult year finishing up my graduate studies, building my portfolio, work, and face my other personal responsibilities.
Despite my struggle to get through the day to day, I am truly so grateful to my donor, Debbie Bohan, for accepting my re-application and supporting my final academic year. With graduating this winter, I can now make the most of my semester with a little more ease at mind with the help of the PGSF. Thank you to everyone who has been patient with me."
###### – Natalie Nguyen, Arizona State University "I am writing to sincerely thank you and the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation for awarding me the GEF General Scholarship. I am truly honored and deeply grateful to be selected for this generous support." ###### – Dinesh Marathe, Rochester Institute of Technology "I wanted to sincerely thank you for awarding me the Warren D.
Hanssen and GEF General scholarships. I’m incredibly grateful and honestly a bit overwhelmed, in the best way. These scholarships mean more to me than I can fully put into words.
They’ve lifted a huge weight off my shoulders and are making it possible for me to focus on grad school and truly make the most of this opportunity." ###### – Calista Smith, Illinois State University "I wanted to thank you for the Harold Gegenheimer/Madeline McClure Gegenheimer scholarship. Without it, I would not be able to fully concentrate on my academic goals.
As I prepare to begin my graphic design journey at Drexel University, this scholarship has already made a meaningful difference by easing the burden that comes with attending a private school." ###### – Saayli Patwardhan, Drexel University We invest in the next generation of professionals by providing scholarships and access to career-building opportunities.

The National Leadership Grants for Libraries Program (NLG-L) supports projects that address critical needs of the library and archives fields and have the potential to advance practice and strengthen library and archival services for the American public. Successful proposals will generate results such as new models, tools, research findings, services, practices, and/or alliances that can be widely used, adapted, scaled, or replicated to extend and leverage the benefits of federal investment. Applications to IMLS should both advance knowledge and understanding and ensure that the federal investment made generates benefits to society. Specifically, the goals for this program are to generate projects of far-reaching impact that: • Build the workforce and institutional capacity for managing the national information infrastructure and serving the information and education needs of the public. • Build the capacity of libraries and archives to lead and contribute to efforts that improve community well-being and strengthen civic engagement. • Improve the ability of libraries and archives to provide broad access to and use of information and collections with emphasis on collaboration to avoid duplication and maximize reach. • Strengthen the ability of libraries to provide services to affected communities in the event of an emergency or disaster. • Strengthen the ability of libraries, archives, and museums to work collaboratively for the benefit of the communities they serve. Throughout its work, IMLS places importance on diversity, equity, and inclusion. This may be reflected in an IMLS-funded project in a wide range of ways, including efforts to serve individuals of diverse geographic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds; individuals with disabilities; individuals with limited functional literacy or information skills; individuals having difficulty using a library or museum; and underserved urban and rural communities, including children from families with incomes below the poverty line. Application Process: The application process for the NLG-L program has two phases; applicants must begin by applying for Phase I. For Phase I, all applicants must submit Preliminary Proposals by the September 20th deadline listed for this Notice of Funding Opportunity. For Phase II, only selected applicants will be invited to submit Full Proposals, and only those Invited Full Proposals will be considered for funding.
