PhD Tuition & Aid | Minnesota Carlson All admitted students are guaranteed five years of funding of approximately $53,000 annually as long as they make good progress in the program: 9-month stipend of approximately $30,000 (starting Fall 2025) in the form of teaching and research assistantships and/or fellowships Summer research fellowships of $5,000 are available annually in years 1–4 to those making good academic progress The following fees are paid on behalf of PhD students (if applicable): Tuition - full tuition waiver for years 1 - 5 Academic Records Fee $150.
