Play Ball Fund | Arizona Diamondbacks Play Ball Fund Grant Program Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and Arizona Complete Health are dedicated to fostering youth sports and expanding baseball and softball leagues throughout Arizona.
In the 2026 season, the Diamondbacks Give Back PLAY BALL Fund will invest $90,000 into youth sports by supporting the incredible efforts of parents, mentors, and coaches who help grow these games across our state. Arizona youth teams, leagues, or organizations can apply for grants of up to $1,000 to support player equipment, player or coach training, assistance with player fees, or facility upgrades.
Please note that the fund does not cover travel expenses or tournament fees. Up to 15 organizations will be selected to receive funding each month during the regular season from April through September. Only one grant per organization or team will be awarded per year.
Applications will be considered throughout the entry period, which closes on August 31, 2026. Play Ball Fund Guidelines Applicants must represent a registered 501(c)(3) organization, school, municipality, or league in Arizona. Priority will be given to baseball and softball programs, though other sports may be considered.
The applicant must be at least 18 years old and directly affiliated with the organization or team. If the applicant is not a coach or administrator, the team or organization contact should be notified, and a team or organization contact will be required.
