PPL Foundation Empowering Community Grants support nonprofit organizations working to improve communities in PPL Corporation's service territory through initiatives focused on three areas: Community Vitality, Access to Opportunities, and Resilience and Sustainability. Community Vitality funding covers housing stability, food security, energy assistance, arts and culture, and economic development.
Access to Opportunities includes inclusive skill-building, entrepreneurship training, and educational programs. Resilience and Sustainability supports environmental stewardship, neighborhood revitalization, and emergency preparedness. Grants range from $2,500 to $20,000, with one grant per organization per year.
Applications are accepted twice annually, in spring and fall cycles.

Eligible nonprofit organizations working in the focus areas described above can apply during the open application periods in the spring and fall.
