Rapid Response Grant Program | Foundation for Community Health Rapid Response Grant Program Supporting emergency and time-sensitive opportunities. Fishes and Loaves Pantry in North Canaan was one of 25 grantee partners in FCH's COVID-19 Rapid Response Grant Program.
Our Rapid Response Grant Program supports the emergency and/or time-sensitive needs of organizations whose work aligns with the Foundation for Community Health’s mission and funding priorities. Most grants from this program are under $1,000. In 2025, the total amount of funds available to this program is less than $5,000.
Eligible organizations must be 501(c)3 organizations or initiatives with 501(c)3 fiscal sponsors. Work must benefit the residents in one or multiple towns within Foundation for Community Health’s catchment area. Please note, the Rapid Response Grant Program was created to respond to Emergency and Time-sensitive opportunities aligned with the funding interests of FCH.
We define Emergency and Time Sensitive as the following: Emergency : the unexpected and unplanned event or situation that requires an immediate and time-limited response Time Sensitive : an opportunity that is short-term in duration Requests are typically approved within 2 weeks .
