Research Project (R01) | Grants & Funding U.S. Department of Health and Human Services National Institutes of Health To support a discrete, specified, circumscribed project to be performed by the named investigator(s) in an area representing his or her specific interest and competencies. Katz Early Stage Investigator Research Project Grant supports an innovative project in an area of science that represents a change in research direction for an early stage investigator and for which no preliminary data Allowable costs include (but are not limited to): Salary and fringe benefits for Principal Investigator, key personnel, and other essential personnel Alterations and renovations Publications and miscellaneous costs Facilities and Administrative costs (indirect costs) Application and Submission Information R01 Parent Announcements are available.
