The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program Provides grants for Romanian professors, researchers and professionals who have a doctoral degree or equivalent (certified) to conduct research and/or lecture at accredited U.S. universities.

The Fulbright-RAF Scholar Award in Agricultural Extension Services Dedicated to Romanian academics from faculties of agriculture, rural economic development, biology, food science and technology who wish to carry out a semester-long fellowship in residence at the University of Georgia, Athens, for study and independent research, curriculum development, classroom observation and participation in community-based extension activities.

Humphrey Fellowship Offers grants for mid-career professionals with demonstrated leadership potential, public service commitment and the capacity to take full advantage of a self-defined program of independent study at a leading U.S. university. Humphrey Fellowship Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program The 2027-2028 Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program For Romanian professors, researchers and professionals who have a doctoral degree or equivalent (certified) and are interested in conducting research and/or lecturing in U.S. universities.

The 2027-2028 Fulbright Student Award The Romanian-U.S. Fulbright Commission is pleased to announce the 2027-2028 Fulbright Student Award competition for master’s study or research in the United States. Applicants can be Romanian BA or MA graduates or PhD students from accredited public and private universities. BA students are also invited to apply if they are in their final year of undergraduate study.

The 2026-2027 Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program The Fulbright TEA Program will bring international secondary-level teachers to the United States for a six-week program to take academic seminars for professional development at a U.S. host university and to observe and share their expertise with teachers and students at the host university and at local secondary schools.
