As part of our Community Plan to reinvest $13. 6 billion in community development and sustainable finance, we proudly commit $100 million in charitable giving through Santander Bank and the Santander Consumer USA Foundation.
The Bank’s Charitable Giving Program aims to help low- to moderate-income communities within our Northeast and Florida retail banking footprint address key community development needs in alignment with the Community Reinvestment Act.
Grants and donations support: affordable housing; small business development and job creation; financial education, first-time homebuyer education and down payment assistance; job training and workforce development; youth development; neighborhood revitalization and disaster relief; and community service programs. Cultivate Small Business supports entrepreneurs representing businesses in Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts and the Greater Philadelphia, New York City and Miami areas. Our Fall cohort runs from September through November with applications accepted from March through June. Our Spring cohort runs from March through June with applications accepted from November through January.

Helping small businesses thrive Santander’s Cultivate Small Business helps early-stage entrepreneurs build and sustain businesses in the food industry, with a focus on historically underserved founders in low-to-moderate income neighborhoods.
