SBIR/STTR Program at NASA awards Phase I grants of up to $150,000 to small businesses conducting innovative research and development with potential for commercialization and alignment with NASA's mission priorities. NASA's program covers a broad range of technology areas including space exploration, Earth science, aeronautics, and biological and physical sciences.

Small businesses may advance to Phase II for continued development funding. All applicants must meet SBA small business size standards, and projects must directly address NASA technology needs as defined in current solicitations.
