Indiana Department of Workforce Development: Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM (SCSEP) The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is the nation’s oldest program to help low-income, job seekers age 55+ find work. SCSEP is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor and was created in 1965.
SCSEP’s goal is to help 55+ job seekers to find employment through a paid work training experience, resulting in better financial stability, that promotes a happy and healthy life.
