Designated Grants | Legislative Grants - Rhode Island State Designated Grants, formerly known as Community Service Grants, are funded through the state budget. In 2016, the Community Service Grant program was eliminated and replaced in favor of state agency-administered itemized budget appropriations and competitive grants.
