Philanthropy is a key way Target engages with communities, whether in our hometown of Minneapolis-St. Paul, in the communities surrounding our stores, or in the countries where our supply chain exists.
Our philanthropic functions include: Corporate Citizenship, Target Foundation and Community Vitality Grant Programs.

Learn more about disaster preparedness and response Great Giftogether: A holiday partnership between stores across the country and local nonprofits, Great Giftogether provides clothing, essentials and holiday gifts to families in need. Target Circle: As a Circle member, guests earn a vote for each Target store trip.
Guests can then use those votes to direct where funds go in support of nonprofits in their community and across the nation. As each voting period wraps up , Target awards grants to the nonprofits based on the percentage of votes they receive.

Key Market Grants are made by invitation only.
Target GiftCard donations: Our local stores care about the communities they serve. If your organization is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) or accredited school, you may go to any of our stores to request a Target GiftCard donation. To be considered, please fill out the GiftCard request form completely, print it out and bring it into your local Target store.
You will need to provide a Government Affirmation letter or other IRS-provided letter for verification of your nonprofit organization or accredited public school status. Target GiftCard donations are available February through December, as funding permits. An average donation is $25-50 with the maximum donation of $500 per year, per agency.
Target does not donate merchandise. Stores typically take up to 30 days to review a request and respond with an approval or decline. How do I know if my organization is eligible to receive a grant from Target?
To request a charitable contribution, your organization must be a federally tax-exempt section 501(c)(3) charitable organization, accredited school or public agency located in the United States or one of its protectorates. Note: A public agency is an organization established and primarily funded by the United States government such as public schools, public libraries and public parks.

Our annual Great Giftogether delivers nearly $1. 5 million in support to the communities where our 2,000+ stores, supply chain facilities and headquarters teams operate .
