These fellowships provide stipend support for postdoctoral fellows who completed their graduate training at Tecnológico de Monterrey or other research institutes in Mexico to conduct research at the Ragon Institute of Mass General Brigham, MIT, and Harvard.

Tecnológico de Monterrey Fellowship and FEMSA Fellowship at the Ragon Institute | Ragon Institute The Ragon Institute is offering up to two fellowships for postdoctoral fellows from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, a leading university in Mexico, or other research institutes in Mexico.

The Tecnológico de Monterrey Fellowship at the Ragon Institute is a competitive program that supports outstanding postdoctoral fellows who completed their graduate training at Tecnológico de Monterrey or other research institutes located within Mexico.

Awards will cover three years of stipend support at a laboratory within the Ragon Institute, providing successful applicants with a space in which to develop skills and knowledge through shared research opportunities.

The larger goal of the collaboration between the Tecnológico de Monterrey and the Ragon Institute is to strengthen research ties between Mexico and the United States by building human capacity in health, science, and technology. The FEMSA Fellowship at the Ragon Institute is also available for candidates who meet the criteria above.

The award covers one year of stipend support at a laboratory within the Ragon Institute, with the possibility for renewal of the award beyond the one-year period. FEMSA and the Ragon Institute are pleased to offer this fellowship to candidates who wish to pursue postdoctoral studies in immunology at the Ragon Institute’s facility in Cambridge, Mass.

The Ragon Institute of Mass General Brigham, MIT, and Harvard is an academic research organization that brings together scientists, clinicians, and engineers from distinct fields to harness the potential of the immune system to prevent and cure human diseases.

Located in Cambridge, MA, the institute includes more than 25 faculty members and features state-of-the-art laboratories, advanced core facilities, and cutting-edge technologies within a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment. It is deeply embedded in the Greater Boston biomedical research ecosystem, with strong connections to leading hospitals, universities, and research centers.

Candidates can submit one application for both fellowships. This opportunity is open to individuals with a PhD degree (or equivalent). Innovative scientists from a wide range of disciplines (including immunology, biochemistry, structural biology, and other medical sciences as well as health-oriented engineering, physical sciences, computational statistics, and artificial intelligence) are encouraged to apply.

The fellowship will cover salary and associated benefits consistent with the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) scale for postdoctoral fellows. • Applicants must hold a PhD, MD, or PhD/MD degree, or be in the final stages of completing their degree. Fellows must either have completed their doctoral degree within the previous two years from the due date or have their doctoral degree conferred before beginning the fellowship.

Applicants should combine the CV and Statement of Purpose (described below) into a single PDF file entitled: “LastName_FirstName. pdf” and send the compiled document to the following email address: [email protected] .

• Curriculum Vitae (CV) (maximum five pages) • Statement of purpose that describes the candidate’s previous research accomplishments, future research goals, and identifies one or two possible host labs at the Ragon Institute (maximum two pages, 0. 5” margins, 11-point Arial font, excluding references). There is no requirement to contact the host lab prior to submitting the fellowship, although applicants may choose to do so.

• Two confidential letters of recommendation: Current research supervisor (or equivalent in case of MD) Previous research supervisor (or equivalent in case of MD) Supervisors should submit their letters of recommendation directly to [email protected] Applications will first be reviewed by a selection committee composed of faculty from the Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Three to five applications will advance to a second round of evaluation by a joint committee with faculty from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and the Ragon Institute, including the principal investigator who would host the selected postdoctoral fellow. Final decisions are expected in June 2026. Thereafter, f ellows will coordinate with the host laboratory for an onboarding timeline.
