Port Authority Studies and Pilot Projects Grant Program (PASPP) Projected Opening: November 2026 Offers grants to port authorities in eligible counties for studies and pilot programs to reduce nitrogen oxides (NO x ) and particulate matter (PM) emissions from cargo movement.
Governmental Alternative Fuel Fleet Grant Program (GAFF) Projected Opening: December 2026 Offers grants statewide on a competitive basis to assist with purchasing or leasing new vehicles that operate primarily on compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, hydrogen fuel cells, or electricity.
Texas Clean Fleet Program (TCFP) Projected Opening: January 2027 Offers grants in eligible counties on a competitive basis to replace heavy-duty and light-duty on-road diesel vehicles with alternative fuel and hybrid vehicles.
Alternative Fueling Facilities Program (AFFP) Offers grants in eligible counties on a competitive basis to construct or expand fueling stations that provide natural gas and other alternative fuels within the Clean Transportation Zone.
Light-Duty Motor Vehicle Purchase or Lease Incentive Program Offers grants statewide on a first-come, first-served basis to purchase or lease an eligible, new light-duty vehicle or conversion system, powered by alternative fuel. Texas Clean School Bus Program (TCSB) Offers grants statewide on a first-come, first-served basis to offset the cost of projects that reduce diesel-exhaust emissions from school buses.
