The Generosity Collective - Community Foundation of the Ozarks The Generosity Collective Multiply your giving, maximize your impact and expand your network in Springfield. The 2026 grant program from the Generosity Collective is now open.
The group will grant a total of $110,000 to address these community issues: Education and Youth Development Mental Health and Daily Living Stability The categories were selected by the Generosity Collective’s membership with guidance from the most recent Community Focus Report for Springfield & Greene County. Make one annual gift, learn about community needs, vote online to select grant recipients, and celebrate massive grants to local nonprofits — and the positive outcomes they support. In two years, because of the Generosity Collective … A family of five now owns their own home — and has a path out of generational poverty.
More than 160 children who suffered abuse received free mental health counseling — and are learning the abuse wasn’t their fault. Children under four now have court-appointed advocates — volunteers who provide a passionate voice for young children entering foster care. Infants and toddlers received high-quality child care while their parents finished high school — two generations transformed at once.
Parents who struggled to find child care now have new options — so they aren’t forced to choose between working or staying home with their children. More parents are learning safe discipline techniques, stabilizing their home environments and managing stress — allowing them to reunite with their children and break cycles of generational trauma. Membership for 2026 is now closed.

How the Generosity Collective Works Each year, members make a $2,500 donation to the Generosity Collective Fund, held by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks. This donation is tax-deductible and must be made by April 10, 2026. As a member, you can vote to select recipients of our annual grantmaking.
If your spouse/partner would like their own vote, they must apply for their own membership. You’ll also have a say in determining our grantmaking focus areas. Throughout the year, you will learn about those focus areas and the nonprofits working to address those community priorities.
These events will help guide the Collective’s grantmaking — and give you an opportunity to connect with fellow members. In November, we will celebrate the year with a grant presentation. In two years, we've granted nearly $250,000 to local nonprofits.
Agencies will apply for the Generosity Collective’s grants through the CFO’s online grantmaking process. In addition to the Generosity Collective’s annual grantmaking, 10% of membership donations will be endowed to build long-term sustainability. The Generosity Collective will be limited to 100 members.
To join the Generosity Collective, you must make a $2,500 donation each calendar year. This can be given in the following ways: Contribution from a donor-advised fund held at the CFO or other charitable sponsor Appreciated stock (contact Ashley Silva for stock transfer instructions) To donate in installments, contact Ashley Silva Talk to your employer or consider a $2,500 corporate sponsorship for your place of business.
This option allows one member of your organization to participate and vote in 2026 GenCo activities and grant rounds. Share with friends and family — word of mouth is our best marketing.
