The Grant Process - Presnell Foundation Because of the decision to allocate the entire 2024 grant cycle to our many friends and neighbors in western North Carolina, the Board of Directors has made the following permanent change to the grant cycle. The Board meets four times per year in January, April, July, and October. Grant Applications are due by June 15th annually.
Acceptance or rejection of grant proposal will be decided at the quarterly meeting which takes place the 2nd or third week in July. Notification of the Board's decision will be sent to grant applicants by August 1st. Funds will be disbursed prior to August 31st.

The Robotics Grant Program is a grant from the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) that funds school-based robotics programs for elementary, middle, and high school students. Awarded through a competitive application process, the program provides up to $3,500 to eligible local education agencies (LEAs) in Alabama. Applicants must be public school systems submitting on behalf of schools with K–12 students.
