There is no guarantee that the Urgent Care grant program will be able to provide financial assistance. Basic guidelines to apply: You must be seeking assistance for one animal with a life-threatening injury or illness that requires urgent and specific treatment.
There must be a current diagnosis and treatment plan from a veterinarian. RedRover cannot pay for office exams or testing. If we know that the proposed care is available in your area at a much lower cost, we may ask that you reach out to other clinics for an estimate.
If you choose to stay at a more expensive veterinarian when there are lower cost alternatives RedRover may not be able to provide funding assistance. (example: Staying at an ER vet for care that can safely be provided at a general practice vet.) Treatment must have a good or favorable outcome.
Household income cannot exceed $60,000 per year Both the applicant and the animal must live in the United States.
