Veterans' Nonprofit Capital Program (VNCP) Round 3 is a grant from the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) that funds capital projects for California-based nonprofit organizations that provide direct services to veterans and their families. New York's biggest investment in swimming since the New Deal. The program provides grants between $50,000 and $10 million to help municipalities design, construct, rehabilitate, or modernize public swimming facilities, with a focus on supporting disadvantaged and underserved communities that lack access to safe swimming and outdoor recreation opportunities.
Applications were evaluated on characteristics of project need, impact and viability. In addition to various costs to develop swimming areas, a portion of NY SWIMS grants can be used to add amenities, including splash pads, concession stands, picnic areas and playgrounds.

Administered by the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) and overseen by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, NY SWIMS provides competitive matching grants that help communities build and improve swimming facilities, giving more New Yorkers safe and modern places to swim. Press Release (12/29/25): GOVERNOR HOCHUL ANNOUNCES MORE THAN $62 MILLION AWARDED THROUGH SECOND ROUND OF NY SWIMS TO EXPAND SAFE SWIMMING ACCESS STATEWIDE New York Building Recreational Infrastructure for Communities, Kids and Seniors On December 5, 2025, Governor Hohcul announced 30 awards totaling $100 million through the Building Recreational Infrastructure for Communities, Kids and Seniors (NY BRICKS) capital grant program.
The grants will support municipalities and nonprofit organizations across New York State in building or renovating community centers that promote physical health, mental well-being, and community connections for youth and older adults. The awards, which will benefit nearly 400,000 New Yorkers across the State, are funded from the $100 million NY BRICKS program, which Governor Hochul secured in the FY 2026 Enacted Budget.

Child Care Capital Construction Funding Program (4CFP) Governor Kathy Hochul recently announced the launch of a new $100 million Child Care Capital Construction Funding Program designed to increase the availability of quality care and expand the capacity of child care, including school age programs, across New York State by funding the construction of new child care facilities or expanding existing ones.
The initiative is expected to add between 6,000 and 10,000 new seats at child care programs for New York families. Applications will be accepted from February 2, 2026, through March 13, 2026. Awards will be announced no earlier than May 4, 2026.

India Sustainable Growth Hub (ISGH) Research Grants is a grant from the International Growth Centre (IGC) that funds policy-relevant research on sustainable economic growth in India, supported by funding from the Bezos Earth Fund. Two award types are available: full research grants up to GBP 40,000 and small research grants up to GBP 15,000.
