Special consideration is given to projects from production companies in regions with the lowest production capacity within the eligible WCF Europe regions/countries and/or to European regions/countries that are not yet fully engaged in international co-productions. The funding must be spent on the production of the film in the WCF Europe Eligible Regions/Countries (535 KB) .
The financing shares of the participating countries of the MEDIA sub-programme must total at least 20 percent and may not exceed 70 percent. At the time of submission, the 20 percent share must already be secured. The final share must be confirmed at least one week prior to the jury meeting.
