Grantmaking - Nantahala Health Foundation Prioritizing Youth and Young Adult Well-being WNC is home to many organizations putting proven ideas into action on behalf of young people. We want to support this work by offering project implementation grants of up to $50,000 to be completed in 2027.
We are interested in programs that are prepared to launch, grow, or scale efforts that strengthen: Access to quality education Career pathways and economic opportunity Competitive proposals will: Address critical gaps in youth health and well-being Advance health equity, especially for underserved communities Demonstrate a clear, actionable implementation plan Show strong potential for measurable impact What These Grants Support Launch new programs that are ready for implementation Expand or replicate successful models Increase access to existing services Strengthen program delivery and outcomes Applicants should be prepared to: Clearly define who will be served and how many Identify measurable outcomes Track progress and evaluate results Organizations will begin with a pre-application outlining their program and readiness for implementation.
Selected applicants will be asked to host a site visit for NHF staff and will be invited to submit a full proposal.
