Youth Baseball Grant Application by 3 Up 3 Down Organization 9th Annual Hold’em Tournament 9th Annual Hold’em Tournament 2026 Youth Baseball Grant Application The 3 Up 3 Down Organization strives to promote, strengthen, and foster youth baseball (and other youth sports) in and around the Hudson Valley as well as provide additional community support for those with developmental disabilities.
The intent of the program is to support in-house programs, programs that support those with developmental disabilities, getting children involved and keeping them in the sport versus leaving the game. New in 2026 will be additional grants to support select scholastic baseball programs. Thank you for supporting and promoting youth baseball.
Our organization will always take under advisement special circumstances. The Grant Process opens February 1, 2026 and closes March 15, 2026. In-house programs, scholastic baseball programs (middle and high school baseball/softball programs), and programs that support those with developmental disabilities are eligible and welcome to apply.
Travel baseball programs are not eligible. Other sports programs (basketball, wresting, soccer, football, etc) will have a separate application time-frame for 2026. (Upon filling out the grant application, please also submit a statement in a separate email to rstockfield@3u3d.

If selected, what is the estimated number of youth leaguers that would be able to attend either? * In 300 words or less, how will you utilize grant funds to advance and promote youth baseball in the Hudson Valley (your league)?
What are your program's biggest needs? * 0 / 300 In order to apply for this grant, you must agree to these grant terms and conditions: Funds must be used to promote and strengthen in-house youth baseball (especially at the younger levels) within their community by December 31, 2026.
Organization must follow up with a letter by December 31, 2026, with acknowledgment of grant and how they have used the donation to enhance their baseball community or how they have budgeted for it in as specific a manner as possible. Acknowledge 3 Up 3 Down on their website or Facebook page as a sponsor AND-OR allow a banner or signage at their field of play (at no cost to your organization).
Have a representative available to receive a banner check at Dutchess Stadium (date TBD) during the Renegades Game, to accept the check. Admission to the event is completely free showing a sign of community. Be able to have a minimum of 10 youth-leaguers in attendance that evening to receive the minimum check .
Failure to meet any of our stipulations may result in rescinding of the grant or ineligibility for future grants. Grant applications are due by March 15, 2026. You will receive confirmation of application receipt within 7 days after submission and final announcements of grant recipients will be announced by March 31, 2026.
