Notice of proposed awards We are pleased to announce $20 million in proposed awards (520 KB) for the 2025-2027 ZEVIP program. These projects will add 119 new fast charging ports to serve state travelers within 23 communities across the state, from the Olympic Peninsula to Southeast Washington. Each station will have a minimum of four 150kW charging ports and 40% of the proposed stations exceed the minimum number of ports.

2 million in grants for the 2023-2025 program. These investments added 230 direct-current fast charging ports and 41 level 2 charging ports in 34 communities across the state. Significant investments were made along SR-20, SR-99, and SR-169.

These investments modernized the 12 original west coast electric highway sites and built 12 new DCFC stations along 2 interstates, 2 us routes, and 9 state routes in 24 communities across the state.
