COVID Arts Sector Impacts COVID Cultural Impact Study Community Accelerator Grant Program Community Accelerator Grant ArtsFund is pleased to partner with Allen Family Philanthropies on the fourth round of funding for the Community Accelerator Grant, a $10 million investment in Washington state’s arts and culture sector.
The program, now in its fourth year, provides unrestricted grants to cultural nonprofit organizations across Washington state. In 2025, the Community Accelerator Grant awarded 930 grants to organizations in Washington’s 39 counties. The funds are intended to boost arts organizations’ ability to invest in their missions and essential roles serving communities across the state.
More information on eligibility, how to apply, and when funds will be distributed will be shared in the summer. Funded by Allen Family Philanthropies, Year 4 of the Community Accelerator Grant program will provide unrestricted grants for cultural organizations across Washington State in amounts of $2,500 to $25,000. The 2026 application will open at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 15.
The deadline to apply will be 5:00 p. m. on Friday, August 21.

In 2026, the program’s eligibility will shift to focus on organizations with annual operating budgets of $1 million or less, recognizing that these grants will have an outsized impact on organizations. Additional eligibility for year 4 of the Community Accelerator Grant program will be determined in the summer . Elig ibility in pre vious cycles does not guarantee eligibility in year 4.

Creative Equity Fund is sponsored by ArtsFund, City of Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, Lorna Jordan Foundation, Satterberg Foundation, Seattle Foundation, and others. The Creative Equity Fund provides transformational three-year unrestricted grants to arts and cultural organizations in Washington, paired with grantee-led cohort learning. The fund is guided by a panel of community members, primarily composed of previous grantees.
Jerome Early-Career Project Grants is a grant from Forecast Public Art, funded by the Jerome Foundation, that funds the creation of new public art projects by early-career artists based in Minnesota. Two grants of $8,000 each are awarded annually to support temporary or permanent public artworks anywhere in Minnesota. Projects may be supported by public or nonprofit agencies but private commissions are not eligible, and a secured project site is required at the time of application. The program places special emphasis on supporting BIPOC and Native artists, LGBTQIA+ artists, women artists, immigrant artists, rural artists, and artists with disabilities. Eligible applicants are Minnesota-based individual artists with 2–10 years of generative experience. The application deadline was October 15, 2025.
The Local Cultural Council Program is a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council distributing $1,000 to $10,000 through a statewide network of 329 Local Cultural Councils (LCCs) representing every city and town in the Commonwealth. Each LCC awards funds based on local community cultural needs as assessed by council members. Eligible applicants include artists, nonprofits, schools, and organizations pursuing arts, humanities, and science projects. Applications are submitted directly to local councils and are typically due by October 16. Grants from most LCCs are reimbursement-based. Massachusetts Cultural Council funds the LCCs centrally, which then regrant to community projects.
