Grantmaking opportunities Furthering health equity through grants Kaiser Permanente offers grants for programs that support the critical health needs of those in the Mid-Atlantic region. These grants allow us to develop purposeful partnerships with local organizations and other institutions while working toward our mission of improving total health for all.
We’re pleased to announce grantmaking opportunities available in two different focus areas for nonprofit organizations or government entities: Economic Opportunity and Food & Nutritional Security. In order to apply for a grant, you must create an account in Mosaic, our online application system.

Increase procurement with diverse-owned businesses Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic States service area (Washington, DC/Suburban Maryland, Greater Baltimore and/or Northern Virginia) Up to three (3) awards of $50,000 Food and nutritional security This funding is intended for organizations interested in advancing Kaiser Permanente’s Food Is Medicine strategy, which is focused on addressing nutrition and food insecurity that can result in diet-related chronic diseases.
