FY 2025-26 Wildfire Prevention Grants - California Grants Portal CAL FIRE’s Wildfire Prevention Grants Program provides funding for fire prevention projects and activities in and near fire threatened communities. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) Wildfire Prevention Grants Program is funded by Cap-and-Trade auction proceeds and the Safe Drinking Water, Wildfire Prevention, Drought Preparedness, and Clean Air Bond Act of 2024 (Proposition 4) appropriated by the California Legislature to agencies that administer California Climate Investments (CCI) and Proposition 4.
