Due to a significant surge in applications, our grant portal will reopen in Spring 2027. This pause allows our team the time and care needed to thoughtfully review each submission and serve our community with intention.

Whether you're a parent, educator, or organization, our grants help fund music therapy, instrument access, and inclusive programs that inspire growth, connection, and empowerment. Legal guardian/parent of individual must complete application One application is required per child, even if grants are requested for multiple children within a household Grants are available within the United States - international grants are NOT available at this time Applications are reviewed and awarded in the order of receipt on a quarterly basis Applicant must select a therapist or program in your local area that is qualified and accepting new clients Online sessions ARE acceptable Therapist/provider is required to submit a monthly invoice along with brief progress notes Quarterly summaries of client sessions along with images/video are required by therapist/provider Grant amounts are evaluated on a case by case basis and typically range from $1,500 - $2,500 Recommend frequency is one 30 minute session per week Transferring grant funds to another therapist or program is NOT permitted Any changes or discontinuation of therapy must be approved by Music Movement 30 days in advance Applications may be resubmitted for continuation or reconsideration on an annual basis Legal guardian/parent of individual must complete application Grants are available within the United States - international grants are NOT available at this time Applicant may apply for Music Therapy and Instrument Donations on one application Applications are reviewed and awarded in the order of receipt on a quarterly basis Applicant must provide links for the requested instrument/accessories (preferably Amazon) Instruments are shipped directly to the grant recipient.
Applicant MUST provide a valid shipping address We encourage submission of instrument unboxing photos/video to Music Movement Grant amounts are evaluated on a case by case basis and typically range from $500 - $1,500 Applications may be resubmitted for continuation or reconsideration on an annual basis Grants are available within the United States - international grants are NOT available at this time Applications are reviewed and awarded in the order of receipt on a semi-annual basis Existing non-profit organizations MUST provide their 501 ( c) (3) TIN # Grant amounts are evaluated on a case by case basis and typically range from $2,500 - $5,000 Quarterly summaries of client sessions along with images/video are required by therapist/provider Applications may be resubmitted for continuation or reconsideration on an annual basis Grants are available within the United States - international grants are NOT available at this time Financial aid is available for families within the Wireless/Tech Industries for the following: Living expenses (rent, food insecurities, utilities, clothing) Medical bills and health related hardships Applications are reviewed and awarded in the order of receipt on a quarterly basis Grant amounts are evaluated on a case by case basis and typically range from $1,500 - $2,500 Applications may be resubmitted for continuation or reconsideration on an annual basis Independent Living Initiatives Legal guardian/parent of individual must complete application Grants are available within the United States - international grants are NOT available at this time.

Jerome Early-Career Project Grants is a grant from Forecast Public Art, funded by the Jerome Foundation, that funds the creation of new public art projects by early-career artists based in Minnesota. Two grants of $8,000 each are awarded annually to support temporary or permanent public artworks anywhere in Minnesota. Projects may be supported by public or nonprofit agencies but private commissions are not eligible, and a secured project site is required at the time of application. The program places special emphasis on supporting BIPOC and Native artists, LGBTQIA+ artists, women artists, immigrant artists, rural artists, and artists with disabilities. Eligible applicants are Minnesota-based individual artists with 2–10 years of generative experience. The application deadline was October 15, 2025.
The Local Cultural Council Program is a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council distributing $1,000 to $10,000 through a statewide network of 329 Local Cultural Councils (LCCs) representing every city and town in the Commonwealth. Each LCC awards funds based on local community cultural needs as assessed by council members. Eligible applicants include artists, nonprofits, schools, and organizations pursuing arts, humanities, and science projects. Applications are submitted directly to local councils and are typically due by October 16. Grants from most LCCs are reimbursement-based. Massachusetts Cultural Council funds the LCCs centrally, which then regrant to community projects.
