This is the third Strategic Funding Plan for New Jersey and identifies nine initiatives the Agencies will invest the RGGI auction proceeds in for the years 2026 through 2028.
The initiatives are: Catalyze Clean, Equitable Transportation Accelerate Building Decarbonization Promote Blue Carbon in Coastal Habitats Strengthen New Jersey’s Forests Sustain and Grow the New Jersey Green Bank Supplement Ratepayer Relief Expand Clean Energy Generation, Transmission, Storage, and Grid Resilience Mobilize Clean Manufacturing and Industry Enhance the Clean Energy Supply Chain, Workforce, and Technology Development These initiatives will further New Jersey’s clean energy and climate mitigation goals.

This is the second Strategic Funding Plan for New Jersey and identifies four initiatives the Agencies will invest the RGGI auction proceeds in for the years 2023 through 2025.

As a result of the quarterly RGGI auctions, over $372M in RGGI proceeds were received between 2020 and 2022. As of May 2023, New Jersey committed $266.

Parkland Acquisitions and Renovations for Communities (PARC) Grant Program is a grant from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs that funds the acquisition and development of public parkland and outdoor recreational facilities.
