Our Collective Prosperity | Meyer Memorial Trust Our Collective Prosperity Our Collective Prosperity works to close Oregon’s racial wealth gap by addressing the root causes of economic inequality. We champion holistic strategies that expand opportunity and create pathways for individuals, families, and communities to build lasting wealth.
We see prosperity as an ecosystem: thriving local economies depend on entrepreneurs having the resources to succeed, workers having access to safe and stable jobs and communities being able to innovate together. Advocacy is central to this work, as activating and mobilizing community voices is essential to transforming policies and systems.
And because housing builds stability, we support efforts to increase homeownership opportunities and remove barriers to affordable housing as a foundation for community well-being. And we recognize that strong care systems are essential — empowering families with the stability and self-determination to flourish across generations.
At every level, Our Collective Prosperity invests in approaches that foster financial security, ownership opportunities, and resilient, thriving communities across Oregon. Economic stability isn’t just about a paycheck — it’s about dignity, opportunity and the ability to build something lasting for future generations. We must address the persistent economic disparities created by institutionalized and systemic injustices.
We can create a just economy by reimagining wealth to reflect and affirm communities’ lived experiences, values, and histories.
