Federal Energy Management Program | Department of Energy Federal Energy Management Program FEMP builds the capacity of the Federal agency workforce to achieve efficient, secure, and resilient energy use in facilities and fleets—saving taxpayers money.
FEMP resources and assistance have helped federal agencies leverage public-private partnerships and successfully implement replicable, well-designed projects that increase efficiency in their mission-critical facilities. Services for Federal Agencies FEMP has competitively awarded Assisting Federal Facilities with Energy Conservation Technologies (AFFECT) grants since FY14. These projects are cost-effective, save money and energy, and leverage financing from non-federal sources to the greatest extent possible.
Interagency Collaboration Interagency Collaboration FEMP works closely with agencies and partner organizations to coordinate interagency working groups focused on federal energy management and compliance with federal laws and requirements.
