0 goal is to support students’ persistence and completion of credentials of value leading to successful career and labor market outcomes.
This program focuses on the development, enhancement, redesign, and/or scaling of evidence-based programs and initiatives in the following program areas: Basic Needs/Wrap-Around Services Mental Health and Wellness Some College, No Credential Reengagement Underserved Populations, including First Generation and Economically Disadvantaged Student Initiatives Additional programming opportunities will be available to assist students who may need additional support through our Student Engagement and Awareness groups: Pregnant and Parenting Students Intellectual and Developmental Disability Incarcerated Students and Formerly Incarcerated Students Program Eligibility and Information Find applicant and project eligibility information as well as RFA and RFI forms for this program.
Eligible Applicants are Texas public institutions or systems of higher education, as defined in Texas Education Code § 61. 003(2)(3)(6)(7)(10)&(16). Three or more eligible institutions may apply as a consortia.
Applications submitted under this RFA must provide a plan for and execution of the development, enhancement, redesign, and/or scaling of one (1) selected program that seeks to positively impact student persistence and completions of credentials of value leading to successful workforce transitions.
Applications submitted under this RFA shall focus on student success programs in at least one of the following Program Areas of an identified target student population: Basic Needs/Wrap-Around Services Mental Health and Wellness Some College, No Credential Reengagement Underserved Populations, including First Generation and Economically Disadvantaged Student Initiatives Applications submitted under this RFA must propose a program/project that seeks to positively impact the persistence, retention, credential attainment (completion), and/or academic achievement rates of an identified target student population.
Proposed programs must address each required component as outlined in this section. Proposed programs/projects or interventions must have the ability to measure, track, and report metrics aligned with the priority outcomes of the Student Success Division. SSAP 2.

Specifically, the goals for this program are to generate projects of far-reaching impact that: • Build the workforce and institutional capacity for managing the national information infrastructure and serving the information and education needs of the public. • Build the capacity of libraries and archives to lead and contribute to efforts that improve community well-being and strengthen civic engagement. • Improve the ability of libraries and archives to provide broad access to and use of information and collections with emphasis on collaboration to avoid duplication and maximize reach. • Strengthen the ability of libraries to provide services to affected communities in the event of an emergency or disaster. • Strengthen the ability of libraries, archives, and museums to work collaboratively for the benefit of the communities they serve. Throughout its work, IMLS places importance on diversity, equity, and inclusion. The California Department of Education (CDE) Early Education Division is making approximately .7 million available to expand California State Preschool Program (CSPP) services statewide, appropriated under the 2021 Budget Act. Eligible applicants are local educational agencies (LEAs), including school districts, county offices of education, community college districts, and direct-funded charter schools—both current CSPP contractors and new applicants. Funding supports full-day/full-year or part-day/part-year preschool services for income-eligible children beginning in FY 2024–25.
