The Office of Public Safety fosters safer communities through strategic funding and partnerships with community organizations. Since 2021, the Office of Public Safety (OPS) has awarded over $60,307,036 in funding to community-based organizations across Philadelphia.
These investments reflect the City and Mayor Parker’s commitment to building cleaner, greener, and safer neighborhoods by supporting local, neighborhood-led solutions that restore well-being and advance healing across all neighborhoods in Philadelphia.
Our two flagship funding initiatives—the Anti-Violence Community Partnership Grants and the Opioid Community Healing Fund—support local leaders and organizations working directly in neighborhoods to create meaningful, place-based change.
